When I worked in Budapest in 1993, I thought it would be neat to bike to Vienna. The bike I was able to borrow had a messed-up pedal, and the seat clamp broke on the way back from my test ride to Pilisborosjenő, so I never tried it. As part of my wandersommer of 2001, I went the other way, biking from Vienna to Budapest along the Danube, and had a great time. I kept saying I wanted do the whole Danube at some point, and Anne told me to just pick a date and do it, so I have: May 24-June 21, 2012. If you would like to join us, just let me know!
